In the six months October 2014 to March 2015, Swansea residents were safest from mobile and tablet thieves, with just 1.6% of total claims for theft. However, over the past six months this almost doubled to 3%, and residents in Derby (1.5%), Plymouth (1.6%), Hull (2%) and Edinburgh (2.4%) are all safer than Swansea.
